An already bright screen means that coupled with the DP6’s Sunhood, shooting in bright sunlight is a no-brainer. Made from neoprene and aluminum rods, the sunhood is simultaneously extremely lightweight and strong, lightning-quick to deploy and nearly flat when packed up – through and through designed for the needs of shooting in the field.
Own a Canon 5D or 7D? No need to restock on batteries! We’ve created a custom plate that attaches to the back of the DP6 allowing for use with the Canon LP-E6 battery type. The bracket allows for hot-swapping, meaning as long as at least one battery is plugged in at all times, you can swap out the other one on the fly, enabling uninterrupted use. Two fully-charged LP-E6 batteries will power the DP6 for 4 hours.
Give your DP6 a place it can call home with the SmallHD articulating StrongArm. With the included shoe mount it can fix to the top of your camera with the other end attaching to the monitor, and full-3D articulation means you adapt it to suit your shooting style, rather than the other way around.
Can’t stop the signal – SmallHD’s HDMI splitter allows your HDMI feed to continue its life beyond the monitor. Run cable to a second monitor or to an HD capture card, all without the need for an external power source.
If our low-profile SmallHD Battery is your battery of choice, then you're going to need a place to strap it in. Velcro will do, but this might be a tad better.
SmallHD’s new 26Wh battery will drive the DP6 for over 4 hours and has the lowest profile of our current battery options. Now featuring a power switch to avoid unwanted drain and an onboard “low battery” indicator light to warn you when you’re running low on juice, this slim battery pack simply simplifies the power management.
For screen protection of epic proportions, this 1/8" thick plexiglass screen protector gives your DP6 a removable shield like no other. It simply clicks into the grooves on the perimeter of the housing, completely avoiding any interference with the Sunhood or 1/4-20 mounting threads (or inputs/outputs, etc). If at some point during its rough life it receives a distracting gash, just pop it off and throw on a fresh one. Plexiglass protection has never been easier.
Want to avoid scratches on your DP6’s housing and screen? Keep it in this custom fitting Neoprene Sleeve. We recommend combining this with the use of the DP6’s Plexiglass Screen Protector for additional impact protection.
Simply protect your DP6’s screen from permanent surface scratches. With the option to use either “Matte” or “Transparent” protectors, you can choose to convert the DP6’s finish to “matte” or stick with its natural “dark-gloss” appearance.
If you’re shooting with a Canon or Nikon DSLR, these cables are a must. Offered in 6 ft, 3 ft, and 1.5 ft varieties, your cable length can now match your shooting scenario.
Using a pro battery with a D-Tap output? This D-Tap to Barrel adapter cable eliminates the need for any type of battery mount on the back of your DP6. Just plug straight into your camera’s Anton Bauer (or Sony V-Mount, etc), and you’ll have power ’til the cows come home.
